Amanda Blakely’s fight against ALL
Donation protected
Amanda Blakely was diagnosed with ALL( a rare form of leukemia) in September after several undiagnosed illnesses. The treatment that she needs and requires is only available at Vanderbilt. She initially spent 30 days in Nashville for her first of 4 treatments. She leaves Tuesday, November 14th for her second phase, which will be 42 days. Due to her invasive treatment and compromised immune system, she is required to stay in Nashville, close to the hospital, while her family remains here in Knoxville. This also means she will miss the holidays with her husband and 2 small children. She is responsible for the cost of the housing while undergoing this round of treatment. The cost of the housing that best fits her need is approximately $8,769.00 and she is required to pay that at the end of her stay in December. Please- first and foremost, keep this family and sweet Amanda in your prayers. If you are led to give to help at all, it will be most appreciated.
