Logline: The story follows a young man who, after a lifetime of people-pleasing, experiences an emotional breakdown and turns to boxing. Through mentorship, he begins to find his strength and step into the assertive man he wants to become.

Hi, my name is Shawn B. Fletcher. I’m a proud Morehouse College alumnus and am currently pursuing my MFA in Acting at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).

As part of my senior capstone, I will be producing and starring in an original short film for my graduate thesis. This project is scheduled to go into production in Winter 2026 and represents the culmination of my journey as a storyteller, artist, and performer.

This film is a personal and artistic exploration of masculinity, identity, and transformation through the lens of boxing. But bringing this story to life is both creatively demanding and financially challenging, which is why I’m reaching out for your support.
