Our daughter, sister, aunt, dog mom, & friend- Kelsey was a passenger in a motor vehicle accident when visiting North Carolina in late March 2022. While turning left at a traffic light, they were struck by a pickup truck that ran a red light at approximately 70 mph. As a result, she suffered a subarachnoid brain hemorrhage; a traumatic brain injury (TBI), as well as other bodily injuries. Thankfully, her hemorrhage has since clotted and she has returned home safely. We are grateful for the progress she has made thus far but are aware that there is still a long road ahead. With this accident, many unexpected expenses have arisen and will continue to as she is unable to work, attend school, and continue life as normal.
