Please help us. Roommate not doing well.

Hi everyone. I have had to make a really hard choice. A good friend of ours, my roommate, is fighting against the vicious killer we all hate. Cancer. Unfortunately, this has caused 6 months of outstanding rent that I just cannot cover. If people contribute like $5, we should hit my goal in no time and avoid eviction.
