Please Help us help Mihos

We are desperately asking everyone for help when normally we would not.

Some of you may know as “Klaws “N” All” a small self funded rescue/sanctuary that take in cats that really struggle to be rehomed for many reason's, health issues, behavioural or disabilities and give them a sanctuary to live out their best possible life.

We usually never ask but as we recently had an emergency cat situation that saw us hit with a colossal specialist vet bill so we are not leaving it up to ourselves this time incase it can’t wait.

We were asked by the community for help to take in a mum with two kittens, one of which was unfortunate enough to be born with a debilitating deformity, vet thinks it’s a severe case of pectus excavatum otherwise known as funnel chest, his chest looks and feels nothing like a kittens should, it’s as if he’s been squished and it stayed, this is impacting his breathing, poor little Mihos is exhausted from expending the energy breathing to try to get enough oxygen, he is also half the weight he should be, this happy poor little guy tries his best to play but gets cut short because he tires out quickly, his enthusiasm exceeds the ability that he normally would have if he didn’t have this deformity.

He will be needing surgery as soon as he’s big enough to try to help him breath better again and hopefully bring him back to the shape he should be, currently all his organs will be heavily impacted by this deformity.

He will be needing X-rays, and surgery (possibly 2 stages) with a special 3D printed plate to suit him along with being in critical care after surgery, there is a very high chance his life can return back to normal after he has had his surgery. Please we are urging for any help towards Mihos so we can gain enough funds in a short time to help him, all we want is the best for little Mihos and we don’t want to give up on him like most others would, he deserves a chance.
