Please Help Save the Most Special Doggie :(

Hi! My name is Elisabeth. I am a student at CU Boulder, and this is my dog Loko. He is a handsome 2 years old boy who loves everyone and everything. He lives with me and 5 other roommates. His personality is so vibrant. Adventuring is his favorite pastime (supervised or not, much to our dismay). He's very weird- he likes to bare his teeth and butt-scooch in your direction when he's super excited, but that's why we love him. He is the craziness that blesses all of our lives. As an emotional support dog, his role in our household is very important. I would be crushed to lose him. 

Up until this point, he has always been perfectly healthy. He is the light of many people's lives, and he is also a valued part of our community. 

On the morning of Sunday, April 19th, Loko fell sick. We took him to the vet where he was found to have life-threatening pancreatitis. He is being admitted to the animal hospital overnight and into tomorrow.

Unfortunately, the medical bills are already piling up. Loko is our baby, and we want nothing more than to give him good care. I am hoping to find help in affording the extent of his medical needs- blood tests, x-rays, hospitalization, recovery, etc. 

Anything would be enormously appreciated. I am looking to cover a portion of the costs so that I can afford to provide him with all the tests and treatments that this requires. Loko is the most precious goofball.
