On October 18, a devastating house fire in Black Mountain, Kelowna took everything from Alexis and her two teenage sons, Maxx and Zach. In an instant, they lost all their belongings — furniture, clothing, kitchen essentials, bedding, and more. Their home is no longer livable.

Thankfully, no one was physically injured, but the emotional and financial toll is overwhelming. Alexis is currently staying with friends, as her family lives out of town. She is uninsured and facing the unimaginable challenge of starting over from scratch.

Alexis is a devoted single mom, deeply involved in the local BMX community. Her youngest son is passionate about archery, and together they’ve always been the kind of family that shows up — for their friends, their neighbors, and their community. Now, they need our help.

We’re hoping to raise $10,000 to help them cover the essentials: food, temporary housing, clothing, and the first steps toward rebuilding their lives.
