As many of you are aware, Phil is currently receiving intensive care at Baylor Heart Hospital in Plano, Texas. Pneumonia has caused severe damage to his lungs. He is on a ventilator and ECMO machine, while in a medically induced coma. On Thursday, doctors plan to awaken him.

We must remember that he will still have a very lengthy recovery, most likely months in the hospital. Unfortunately, he won’t be receiving a paycheck after Friday, or any disability, nor will he have medical insurance after December. Dee, who is self employed, will be spending time with him, and won’t be able to work as much either. However, the bills will continue.

Can you imagine how stressed and worried you would be if you were in this horrible situation? I’d like to ask everyone who know and love Phil and Dee to consider helping. And, if you don’t know them and would like to donate, be assured that they would greatly appreciate it. They truly are the most fun and kind people you could ever meet. I don’t think they know any strangers.
