Peter Miller's recovery

Last Saturday Peter Miller was playing a trial match for Portland FC and unfortunately broke his Tibia & Fibula in an on field collision. Peter was taken by ambulance to the QEH where he had immediate surgery & spent 5 days in hospital.

As you could imagine this was devastating for Peter who has played footy for many many years and in recent years took up running & completed his first marathon in 2020. Peter is an amazing role model but most importantly he is a loving hard-working husband and father of 4.

Peter who works as FIFO worker is now out of work for 6-8 weeks with no leave entitlements and no income protection which is going to impact greatly on his young family of 6.

This injury adds on to grief & loss, trauma, loss of income due to the impacts of the family having covid and the hard times that have impacted the Miller-Koncz family over the past 12 months so we would like to ease the financial burden as much as we can so Peter can focus on his recovery.

Lets rally behind Peter & his family as they never ask for help or support but are the first people to always help others. This family always go above & beyond for their community. Any contributions would be greatly appreciated.
