Pepe’s double leg brace

Pepe is an elderly rescue who has always had some trouble with his back end but was always willing to go on walks and was always a happy dog.
He has recently Learned out since the arthritis in the one back leg has loosened and gained some more flexibility again that he has an older torn ACL injury that is now fully torn. But now with the strain of that injury his better back leg now has a tore ACL injury.
His vet doesn’t not feel surgery is a good option but that custom made braces fit for him would be his best option at being able to continue living his best life of wandering the yard, sun bathing and going on adventures when he wants to. Pepe would be so greatful to be able to continue living his best life!
I do so much for the community as a fire fighter and part of the County animal response team and Taking in foster dog till they find there forever homes. I’m not asking for myself I’m asking for this old dog that has been so happy doing what he wants when he wants.
Pepe has always been there for the people, he loves me and the elderly people he used to live with. When Pepe came from us from the shelter he was very scared and not a very happy dog. And he picked me to be his human God only knows why. Pepe laid in bed with me for two day one time when I had to pull some one I knew from underneath at tractor trailer when it hit and killed him. It really messed with my head and pray non of you ever have to go though that. Whether this works or not we will find a way to get him his braces.
If any extra money is raised I will be donated to a local shelter.

Well Pepe and Sammie had a love affair going. I would walk them together and they would nose each other in the way. He had his favorites at the shelter. He’s was a character when he new I was there he would scream wanting me to come to him. Cause he had me wrapped around his paw. I would let him run around while I was working and he thought he was the king. He will always have a special place in my heart. I was the only one that could change his collar. When he didn’t like you he would let it known. I’ve was with him from the first day he came till I left 3 years later when you came after that and made me so happy
