Peace for Larissa

Saturday started for most people the same way as it did for Larissa. Wake up, plan the day and hopefully find the time to do something you enjoy. Larissa enjoyed hiking and spending time in nature and went out hiking along the Green River with her roommates. Sadly, it did not end as any of them expected. You can read more about their story here: Green River Gorge
Larissa, was a woman who wore her heart on her sleeve. She was someone who would put her whole heart and soul into everything she did. She was one of those people you could call at three am to talk and she would pick up the phone because she knew you needed it. She loved to dance with impact, hike as much as she could, cook and share her passions with others. She enjoyed going to Vegas and called it her second home. She treated her friends like family and her family knew how much she loved them, especially her niece. She loved her like she was her own child.

Larissa also had an infectious smile that would light up a room. If you were having a bad day she would do just about anything to make you laugh. She told me once that she wore leggings with designs on them because she knew the residents at the nursing home, where she worked, liked them and she wanted to make them happy.

Larissa was also someone who lived her life out loud. She was never afraid to be who she was. I know that is something I have always admired about her.
Larissa was taken away too soon and all who knew her have suffered a loss. If you are able to help her family funds raised will go toward funeral and burial costs. Thank you for reading and anything will help.
