Ciao, mi chiamo Michelle e sono qui per chiedere un aiuto per il mio Thor.

2 mesi fa durante una passeggiata all’improvviso Thor ha iniziato a zoppiccare piangendo. L’ho portato subito dal veterinario e dopo le lastre abbiamo purtroppo scoperto che soffre di una grave artropatia degenerativa a entrambe le anche, facendomi vedere degli esemplari riguardo la malattia, la veterinaria addirittura mi aveva detto che la situazione è anche molto più grave alle situazioni gravi che hanno come esempi. Dopo aver consultato diversi veterinari per avere una diagnosi certa, erano concordi che l’unica soluzione sarebbe operarlo. Se non fosse stata degenerativa, sarebbe bastato l’inserimento delle anche nella loro sede, invece dovranno essere prodotte delle protesi su misura per farsi che non smetta di camminare del tutto. Il costo dell’intervento è di €7.000.

Un vostro piccolo gesto è importantissimo per Thor cosicché possa tornare a una vita normale senza incombere nella possibilità di non camminare mai più.

2 months ago while we were on a walk Thor started to limp and cry out of nowhere. I rushed him to the vet and after having the results we discovered that he’s suffering of Degenerative Arthropathy in a really bad stage in both sides, showing me some examples the veterinary said it is even worse than the worst case there is as their example.

After some consultations with veterinaries and specialists the best thing to do is a surgery.

If it hadn't been degenerative, inserting the hips into their proper place would have been enough, but instead custom-made prostheses will have to be produced to ensure that he doesn't stop walking completely. The whole surgery will cost €7.000.

Your small gesture is very important for Thor so that he can return to a normal life without the possibility of never walking again.
