Paying Tribute to Demetrius, Londynn and Charles

Our beloved Charles Wade recently passed on December 7th, 2021. Charles was a wonderful brother, father, and friend, who touched the lives of those around him. He leaves behind 4 children, 1step-child and 4 siblings who recently lost their mother.

 

Charles dedicated his life to taking care of the children he had and the ones in his life. He was always lending a helping hand and taking care of those around him. He was an aspiring music entertainer and was always trying to find ways to perfect his craft. He played football at Groveport Madison High School and excelled in everything that he set out to do. He graduated high school in 2018 and was always determined to complete whatever he started.

 

Demetrius was a 9 year old 4th grader in Canal Winchester school District, who played football with the Reynoldsburg Raiders. He enjoyed playing with his siblings and was a great student. Demetrius was a great big brother to his baby sister Londynn who was also a student in Canal Winchester District. Londynn was a 6 year old Kindergartener who had an amazing sense of humor. Anyone who knew Londynn would remember her, her personality, her beauty and her presence was able to lighten up any room.

 

On December 7, 2021 as Charles loaded his 2 step children Demetrius and Londynn Wall’Neal in the car to go enjoy dinner, and prepare to leave they were horribly, and heartlessly riddled with bullets. This tragedy is very hard to explain and even harder for the families affected to comprehend. Currently we’re unable to grieve properly, because not only has the perpetrator's not been found but we also have to come up with funds for funeral services during this holiday season.

 

We are all devastated by the loss of Charles, Demetrius, and Londynn and we're not prepared for the high cost of a funeral services, or  the long road ahead of us caring for his children and step-children. We want to give Charles and the children the memorial they deserve, to honor their memories and say our last goodbyes.

 

I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Charles, Demetrius and Londynn’s funerals, and to assist with his children going forward.
