Paying for Julie's Wild Ride

Hi, I'm Jonathan Pennington. My colleagues Crorey Lawton, Renee Turner, and I got together, and we've decided to raise funds for our friend, Julie Z. LeBlanc. Julie is battling Ocular Melanoma, a rare type of eye cancer. I'm not using the term "battling" lightly. Despite her odds, she's doing everything she can to get the absolute best treatment available, no matter where the specialist practices. Since the cancer has spread from her eye to multiple other organs, she's finding specialized and experimental treatments and doctors from different places. I recommend that you find her on Facebook or CaringBridge to learn more - she shares readily about every step of the process.

The funds we are collecting will go directly to Julie to pay for her travel to Philadelphia; any excess funds she collects, she can provide them to a charity like A Cure in Sight (ACIS). ACIS is near and dear to her, as they are devoted to finding a cure for Ocular Melanoma. Although she may not beat it, she hopes that through her trials others will benefit.

Julie is living life to the fullest right now. Even though she's slowed down a little on the roller coasters and the white water rapids, she'll still go to a good heavy metal show. Thanks for considering helping to pay for Julie's Wild Ride.
