Pasco's beloved Vinny's Bakery needs our help
Hello neighbors. My friend Felix Vargas and I were really saddened to learn that Pasco’s beloved and celebrated Vinny’s Bakery and Bistro was closed by the State due to delinquent taxes. Felix and I are trying to help Vinny get back on his feet after he suffered a number of setbacks. Vinny has always been a contributing member of the community; however, in addition to struggles through the COVID pandemic, the hardworking Vinny needed surgery requiring him to take three months off. He left the business in the hands of someone he trusted but returned after surgery recovery to find no money and no way to pay bills or taxes. Vinny wants to pay his taxes but without being able to open the bakery, he has no way to earn the money to clear his debt. We want Vinny’s Bakery and Bistro to reopen. We want to enjoy more of those delicious Cuban sandwiches he became famous for on Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive Ins and Dives. We want Vinny to once again be a contributing member of our community. Vinny wants to pay his debt and doesn’t want to ask for handouts. That is why we are asking you to please help us help Vinny. Once his $69,000 tax debt is cleared he can reopen, provide jobs, serve those famous sandwiches and delicious pastries, and continue to pay State and local taxes.
