Hi, my name is Linda Joy, and I hope to raise money for this family. Mr. Castillo is a retired Veteran who and his wife both have health issues and live on a fixed income. Kids from the neighborhood have terrorized this family. They have broken his windows, destroyed screens, egged their home and even sprayed their security system. This story tugged at my heart when I saw it on the news. I have reached out to many outlets, and it saddens me to think so many think they need to get something in return for helping someone out. Broken promises from many who said they'd be by to help have not. Elected officials in the town know about this family yet have not reached out to offer a helping hand on his many repairs. The weather will be changing soon, and I'd like to help him get his windows repaired. If I can raise this money, it would be used for window repairs and perhaps enhancements to his security system. I have visited Mr & Mrs. Castillo, and they are humble people; they haven't asked for any help, but I have offered by reaching out to them. So NOW I'm REACHING OUT TO THE COMMUNITY.
