Orono Firefighter Association 1933 Bickle Fund

The Orono Firefighters Association owns this beautiful piece of history. Our 1993 Chevrolet/Bickle fire truck. The Orono Firefighters Association wants to give the respect this truck deserves, with some long over due restoration work.

This truck was a working fire truck back in its prime for 31 years, servicing the Township of Clarke, now the Village of Orono and its community until it was retired from service back in 1964. Since it's retirement, it has won some very prestigious awards for "Best Original" fire antique vehicle. Our 1933 Bickle has participated in many community events such as the 2010 Stanley Cup parade, antique car shows, local community events, weddings, etc...

We are asking our community to help raise some funds to assist with some maintenance, repairs and restoration of our 1933 Bickle. This truck is very special to us and we would like to see it back in the eyes of our community.
