Open Heart faith gathering

Open Heart faith gathering (http://pastorjess.com/ohfg) is an extra-institutional mission church in the Avondale Neighborhood of Chicago. We are queer, neuroatypical, and anti-racist (Reconciling in Christ and Emmaus Collective). We learn about how to follow Jesus in our lives through activities and participation. We are each finding our paths together as a community. People with ADHD and ASD are especially welcome, as well as those who speak Spanish. People come who practice polyamory. Several people who are trans often come. Those who have felt unwelcome in other religious spaces are finding joy in a community based on relationship, participation and radical hospitality. We are working on making backpacks for the chronically homeless and working on being trained to do ministry with those who live on the streets. Incorporating, having training, and good graphic design for logos will make it more possible to raise money for the Faith on Foot street ministry.
We are raising money to incorporate and obtain 501(c)3 status, plus $500 for our leaders to take a class on fundraising for mission churches, plus about $100 in transaction fees. Additionally, we need about $500 for graphic design services. Also, because we are anti-oppression and anti-racist in our worldview, $200, or 10%, of all our fundraising will be going to Bethlehem Lutheran Church in NOLA (https://www.facebook.com/BethlehemNOLA/).
