OJ was shot and needs surgery

Hi friends! Thanks so much for checking in on our special boy!
Before OJ came to us, he lived on mean streets of Richmond VA where he fought racoons for his dinner and eventually became king of the cat colony. After fathering most of the kittens in the neighborhood over the years, our lovely friend captured him for neutering and discovered he was a big cuddly snuggle bug.
Last August he showed up with a nasty neck wound and assuming it was from an animal bite, the vet stitched it up and sent him home. He healed up no problem, being the tough guy that he is.

A few months later he starts itching his neck like crazy, gave himself an abscess, had surgery, wouldn't let it heal. So second surgery we find a tract of scar tissue leading down to a BULLET. Looks like someone shot him head on in the neck and it came to rest along his esophagus near the spine.
CT and Surgery with a specialist is going to be around 8k. Anything you can spare will help. I know times are tough. Every penny we get will go to OJs procedures. Kind words and shares also GREATLY APPRECIATED.
He's the sweetest boy, who spends his days stalking his adopted brothers and nights lying splayed on my chest with his cold little nose pressed into my neck. Few things in life bring me such comfort and joy.
