Love for Jessica

While I only got to know Jessica while working at Birds, she was one of the best people I've ever knew. Jessica was someone who made friends with everyone she met. She was the sweetest girl with the sassiest humor; she was always ready to own her style and sense of self. I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to get to know someone who was warm and colorful as Jess.

Although she was from Arkansas, she made herself right at home in Austin, and was involved with many groups. She was a friend, a sister, and an ally to everyone. To show our love, we want to fundraise to help Jessica's family with any funeral expenses; we are in the process of reaching out to them and will keep you updated. We just want to be able to show our appreciation and help give a sendoff to an amazing person whose world ended too soon.
