Hello, my name is.. Nia

I am finishing up my senior year at Columbia College Chicago majoring in film with a concentration in screenwriting. One of my major goals ended up becoming a reality when I got accepted into the Semester in LA program (SiLA) for the Summer 2024 term! Although I am extremely excited and grateful to have receive this opportunity, I can’t help but to worry about my financial situation as I would now be a part-time student until I graduate so that I can attend the program. This means I won’t have the financial assistance that I was so use to getting from my accredited college. Now, I will have to come up with money to finish paying off for school, on top of being able to pay for the program that I so desperately wanted to get into ever since I started at Columbia. It has been a struggle for me but with support of my parents I’ve been staying adamant and persistent. I would love to continue this journey, if I had help and assistance I can continue…

I am eternally grateful if friends and family could pitch in towards funding my ambitious goals (anything is appreciated) , so that i can continue to strive towards greatness in my field as a YOUNG BLACK filmmaker. Thank you so much for any & all your help and God bless you.
