I am about to graduate medical school. The only thing in my way is a financial hold on my account for $3125. $2000 as an emergency advance I was never able to pay back, as well as $1,125 I was not aware I was paying toward health care I never received. In a time where the future of education in America is uncertain, and doctors are needed more and more, I find it very sad that I receive no help and no options from my school. The dean, after reviewing my case over a weekend, told me nothing could be done. I don't have fancy cars or houses. I have been working close to the minimum wage since I completed my education a year and a half ago. Because I quality for no decent jobs until I have that peice of paper in my hands. I cannot get a good job without my diploma, I cannot get my diploma without a good job. Many carribean medical school are for profit, my school is no exception. I am nothing but a number. Help me to do what I've wanted to do my entire life. I don't need money for myself, I need it for my education. My credit score is tanked, my situation is desperate, and I'm asking for help for anyone who has the means to give it. In these uncertain times, we have to rely on each other now. Please help me.
