FLOODS 2026 Update

Do you remember NEPAL FREE KITCHEN from the 2015 Nepal Earthquake? We raised over £25,000 and fed up to 1000 people hot food TWICE A DAY FOR SIX WEEKS.

Nepal has been struck by another natural disaster and there are reports further flooding will follow. Hundreds of people have been drowned, perhaps more than a thousand, their houses and businesses destroyed. You have all seen the awful images and videos.

I am raising money as quickly as possible for those victims, to go towards rebuilding their lives, following the guidelines of Nepal FREE Kitchen eleven years ago.

The area is currently closed. The river road in has been destroyed. Only helicopters can get to communities safely. The alternative is to walk in over the mountains. We cannot therefore yet help with ground assistance, as we did last time during the two earthquakes. But we will ! Food, fresh water, and together with other agencies rebuild a small piece of infrastructure, as funds allow.

FREE STREET KITCHEN NEPAL 2015

Thousands are out in the open after the quake with little shelter and food, and no belongings. They need immediate, practical, help !

I've been on 15 trekking visits to Nepal and now this happnens! I want to give something back.

I am flying to Nepal Monday, 4th May. I will set up a FREE Street KITCHEN in Kathmandu for immediate relief to some of those homeless sleeping in the open. I have a small team of local people who will help. I need funds to hire local cooks, and to pay for the kitchen stall, equipment, on-going food ingredients and crucially FREE fresh WATER.

After the first one is set up, we shall start more, as funds allow. We are hoping to establish 5 separate kitchens around Kathmandu as an initial target.
