Nepal Flood Relief — Together We Can Help Rebuild Lives

Goal: $50,000 and Beyond

On August 26, 2026, catastrophic flooding along Nepal’s Bhote Koshi River corridor devastated communities, causing tragic loss of life, leaving many people missing or displaced, and damaging homes, roads, bridges, hydropower facilities, and other critical infrastructure.

Search-and-rescue operations and emergency relief efforts are continuing, while affected families face a long road toward recovery and rebuilding.

At this difficult time, the Nashville Nepalese Association (NNA) is calling on the Nepali community, friends of Nepal, businesses, organizations, and compassionate individuals everywhere to stand together and help.

Our initial goal is $50,000, but we hope to raise as much as possible.

No contribution is too small. Whether it is $10, $25, $50, $100, $500, $1,000, or more, our collective generosity can make a meaningful difference.

Where Will the Money Go?

Funds raised through this campaign will be received and administered by Nashville Nepalese Association (NNA) for Nepal flood and disaster-relief purposes.

After applicable GoFundMe processing costs and necessary transfer expenses, NNA intends to transfer the available net proceeds to the Government of Nepal’s Prime Minister’s disaster-relief fund to support government-coordinated relief, recovery, rehabilitation, and reconstruction efforts.

NNA will maintain records of funds received and transferred and intends to provide donors with an update confirming the amount transferred. No campaign proceeds will be distributed to organizers for personal benefit.

Your Donation Can Make a Difference. Funds may help support disaster-response needs such as:

• Emergency rescue and relief

• Food, water, shelter, and essential supplies

• Assistance to displaced families

• Rehabilitation of affected communities

• Reconstruction of homes and critical infrastructure

• Other government-coordinated disaster-relief needs

The need will continue long after the floodwaters recede.

U.S. Charitable Giving

This campaign is intended to be established as a nonprofit fundraiser benefiting Nashville Nepalese Association, a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
