Nepal Flood Relief Fund
Severe flash flooding in Nepal devastated the Nepal-Tibet border about 40 miles from the country’s capital, Kathmandu, and has displaced families, damaged homes and community institutions, and created urgent needs for food, clean water, shelter, medical supplies, transportation, and other emergency assistance. To support the relief effort, Sambuddhaloka Buddhist Vihara Inc. is collecting donations in the United States for the Nepal Flood Relief Fund.
Funds will be administered by Sambuddhaloka Buddhist Vihara Inc. and transferred to Ehipassiko Buddhist Foundation in Nepal for approved humanitarian relief activities in affected communities.
How Your Donation Will Help
- Donations may be used for:
- Food and clean drinking water
- Temporary shelter and essential supplies
- Medical and sanitation needs
- Rescue and transportation support
- Assistance to flood-affected villages and community institutions
- Other urgent relief needs
Transparency and Accountability
All donations will be collected through Sambuddhaloka Buddhist Vihara Inc. and tracked separately for Nepal flood relief.
