Together for Nepal – Supporting Families Affected by the Devastating Floods

On 26 August 2026, devastating flash floods struck Nepal, causing tragic loss of life and widespread destruction.

The Bhote Koshi flood has severely affected Rasuwa and neighbouring districts, including Nuwakot, Dhading and Gorkha. Families have lost loved ones, homes and livelihoods, while vital roads, bridges and other infrastructure have been badly damaged.

At this heartbreaking time, we, the Nuneaton Nepalese/Gurkha community, are launching this Nepal Disaster Relief Appeal to bring together our community, our friends and supporters across the United Kingdom, and everyone who wishes to stand with the people of Nepal.

Where will your donation go?

Our intention is to ensure that the money raised reaches Nepal through an official and accountable Government of Nepal disaster-relief channel.

We will liaise with the Embassy of Nepal in London regarding the transfer of the funds raised through this appeal, with the intention that the donation is directed to the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund / Prime Minister’s Relief Fund established by the Government of Nepal.
