Neighborhood Cutoff After Storm. EMERGENT NEED

This is a Private Road in a thirty plus year old mobile home development.  I had began the process to turn the road over to the State. This disaster put that process way behind. None of the residents are "well off" Period.  Several of the lots are unoccupied and many are elderly and on Social Security.  Tenants include a 100% Disabled Veteran, and families that must walk children out to the school bus over very challenging and dangerous terrain.  The Fire Chief said a similar incident (different area of County) in Winter of 2018 cost the (better off) residents near $50K to repair.  This is a slightly smaller opening so the reduced cost of ~$45K plus the couple of thousand we residents can come up with.  100% of all proceeds will go to road repair.  We need to get the road to "CODE" to turn it over to the state so any future maintenance will be taken care of by the State.  An alternative to cash donations would be a construction company offering an extreme discount to do the work...
The road is out at the 5600 block of Daybrook Ct, Stanley, NC 28264.
Funds are needed immediately.  The residents are 100% Cutoff
