Nathan Harvey - Musician Theft Recovery Fund
Donation protected
Nathan is a musician and recording studio owner. On Monday April 13th, 2020 he was transporting his recording equipment from his studio to his home in order to work from home following his recording studio being shut down as a non essential business and following the COVID-19 stay at home orders.
He made a quick stop by Home Depot to pick up sandpaper and stain to do a household quarantine project with his girlfriend, Cherilyn. Only minutes later he came out of the store to find that his car had been stolen. In addition to losing his primary means of transportation, inside of his trunk was $30k worth of recording gear including his apple computer, desktop, laptop, microphones and and years of irreplaceable hard drive content for his business, clients and personal projects.
COVID-19 has been challenging for everyone, especially music and event industry professionals; Nathan lost the income of his anticipated Spring tour and his full schedule of contracted projects - his car being stolen has been an unfortunate and unanticipated turn of events on top of everything else.
Nathan is humble, kind, and extremely generous. He is fearlessly committed to being there to support a friend or loved one through a challenging time with incomparable integrity. Now is our time to step up and show him some support.
Nathan anticipates & hopes to have approximately half of his losses recovered via private funding and insurance. We are initiating this fundraiser with the goal of raising:
$3500 towards a downpayment for a new car, &
$2500 towards replacing his home studio, interface and cables
Thank you for contributing and helping Nathan get his business back up and running quickly, he will be eternally grateful for your support & contribution!
