Donation protected
Adrian Minor, husband of Danielle Boisseau-Minor and father of 2 young girls suffered a brain bleed due to an AVM (Arteriovenous Malformation) at the base of his skull on May 20. He was transported to the local hospital and then transferred to UNC Chapel Hill where he underwent life saving blood drain surgery followed by a craniotomy. He later had an embolization of an artery at the avm site. He will require another surgery at the AVM site; however the exact surgery or when it will be done has not been determined.
He was on a ventilator for a couple weeks and currently has a tracheotomy. He was in neuroscience ICU for 3 weeks and transferred to ISCU (intermediate icu) on 6/8 . He was recently transferred to a general floor room where he is starting to get pt/ot and speech therapy in the hopes to get him to an intensive rehab facility soon. His physical strength has greatly improved; however, his brain is still healing and the extent of any permanent damage is yet to be determined.
We are looking to provide monetary assistance to help with the unknown patient responsible medical bills, continued monthly as well as everyday expenses to include gas, parking, hotels, food, etc. As Adrian is unable to work and Danielle has been by his side, there is no steady income.
Any assistance the family receives will go to help with everyday expenses, current monthly bills and future medical bills.
Thank you for your support!
