Please help bring Haneen's family together, to safety, and into a supportive community.
Haneen, a woman from Gaza, made it out of her war-torn city. Her stories of why and how she fled are heartbreaking, leaving her family, her home, and her work with youth empowerment behind. Now she is resettling at Tamera and in need of funding to cover 2 years of refuge and research for herself and her family.
We are helping Haneen to raise €30,000 to cover:
~The legal processes, (visas, travel, etc.) necessary to free her children and husband, currently living in Gaza, and bring them to Tamera.
~Living Costs, Health Insurance, and Education for herself, her husband, and two children, Nana 5 years old and Azoz 3 years old for two years while living in Tamera.
In total we need to raise €30,000 which equates to €1,250 per month for the coming 2 years. Every amount helps. We have one month to secure funding. Please donate generously and share widely with your networks.
Details about the future for Haneen and her family:
Their family will be able to live in the community over the next two years with the ability to rest, recover, and continue their education and research in peace activism and regenerative settlements. It is a shared vision between Haneen and Tamera to seed a more permanent response and base for refugees to settle in and around Tamera and other eco-villages. As a wisdom carrier, Haneen is received with gratitude at Tamera for her passion as a change maker and for the inspiration she gives to the existing refugee response team.
After two years in Tamera, Haneen and her family will be free to decide if they will continue to live in Tamera or choose to live elsewhere.
