MYOB: Houston, cop show parody

Hi, I'm Stan Mays, writer and director of MYOB: Houston, a parody of all the cop shows out there (none of which are set in Houston for some strange reason!). We cobbled together a budget from our own pockets, and a small grant from the City of Houston Arts Alliance, to film episode one of the show.

But we need more to defray costs and produce more episodes. Our great cast and crew all worked at reduced rates to make episode one happen, and it is good! It's funny! It's Houston! You can see a behind-the-scenes trailer on YouTube at myobhouston.

Stars of the show are Sara Gaston, Joe Grisaffi, Grady McCardell, Brian Broome, Mai Le, and Jerry Wayne Longmire.

We're editing episode one now with plans to post on our YouTube channel in January '24. We want to jump right into making more episodes, but need the funds to do so. $10,000 isn't enough to produce two more episodes but we thought we'd set our initial goal low and hopefully bust through it.
