As you all know I'm in this special Stage 4 club and want to raise awareness of prostate cancer ensuring everyone knows that it needs to be caught early and all you need is a simple PSA blood test. Tom and I are going to Glasgow to ride around the hills with Sir Chris Hoy and others. We're raising money this time around for Maggie's which is an amazing charity providing practical and emotional support to those living with cancer as well as their families. They've created brilliant calming supportive spaces right next to cancer wards up and down the country and both Sam and I have benefitted from the amazing work they do. The service is free so needs fundraising support. I've not jumped on a bike for a few years now and, having been hospitalised in Slovenia with pneumonia a few weeks ago, this is going to take a bit of huffing and puffing I suspect and that's before the discomfort of not having a prostate cushion any longer! Tom doesn't own a road bike, much less ever having ridden one! So it'll be a challenge for both of us! We appreciate you giving whatever you can x
