My 900 mile walk for the Charities behind the Ozi Film
Donation protected
For the past seven years, I’ve poured everything into bringing Ozi: Voice of the Forest to cinema screens around the world. The animated family movie tells the story of orangutans, deforestation, and climate change — and so far, over a million people have heard Ozi’s voice. With the upcoming US release in October, followed by Latin America, Germany, and Australia, we expect that number to triple.
It’s been an unforgettable journey — filled with extraordinary collaborators and moments of sheer joy and magic. But it’s also been one of immense challenge. Through it all, the one constant source of strength and purpose has been the charities we’ve partnered with. They are the heartbeat behind this mission:
International Animal Rescue & Sumatran Orangutang Conversation Programme
They were fighting for the planet long before we started the movie, and they’ll still be fighting long after the end credits roll.
So now, I’m taking one last ‘Ozi’ journey — a 900-mile walk from Land’s End to John O’Groats. 100 days. Across the UK. To say thank you — and to raise vital funds and awareness for these real-life heroes.
So here’s the deal:
I’ll do all the legwork And You bring the backing, and together we can support the people who never stop fighting for our forests and our wildlife.
