300Miles in 300Minutes to Raise 3K Covid 19 has affected our world, our country and without question our local community.   Over the past number of weeks our club has been involved with local shopping, pharmacy and meal deliveries along with helping the HSE to bring forward the opening of the new Blackwater House and we are aware that many in our town are facing difficult times. Local charities are actively supporting our community during this crisis and may be needed more than ever when Covid 19 is no more so as a club we want to offer what support and help we can  Next Saturday 9th May we ask that Monaghan Harps club comes together while staying apart, from juvenile right through hopefully to some of our cocooning members as we set ourselves a challenge to complete 300miles in 300minutes with the hope of raising 3K divided between two local and well deserving charities Crocus and SVP Monaghan.   All we ask is  1) You get in contact and let us know what distance you can do 2) You raise/donate 30euro  3) You wear Harps gear or colours when taking part 4) You adhere to the Covid 19 HSE guidelines Crocus are a voluntary run, peer support group, for those living with a cancer diagnosis who are at different stages on their journey, who are solely dependent on donations and charity fundraising events St Vincent De Paul Monaghan work directly with people who have a variety of needs.  Any assistance offered is given in a non judgemental spirit of compassion, based on the need of the individual or family
