Help us evacuate my family from Gaza

I am Mohmmed Jaber, I need your help to rescue my family and evacuate them from Gaza.

My family

My family consists of 5 individuals, my parents Amjad and Halema, my brother Ibrahim and my twins siblings Abd-Rahman and Rania. My father Amjad was a social researcher before the war and my mother Halema has advanced academic degrees and works as the general director of nurses in the Ministry of Health in Gaza’s hospitals, most of which have been destroyed in the ongoing war.

My brother Ibrahim is a university student in his third level studying Mechatronics Engineering, his studies were disrupted and now he has missed an entire academic year due to the war, and there is no horizon or vision for studying in Gaza due to the entire higher education system being destroyed by the occupation. Ibrahim hopes to join a university in a stable country so that he can complete his studies and achieve his dreams. My twin siblings, Abdul Rahman and Rania, or as we call them at home, Abboud and Ranoush, are students in middle school. Like all children in Gaza, they have not been able to attend school and learn for over 6 months. They feel afraid and their wish is to live away from the sounds of explosions and the smell of gunpowder, which to them is “the smell of death.”

Timeline of my family’s displacement

My family lived in “Madinat Al-Zahra”, which became the “destroyed city” after being destroyed on the 21st of October 2023. We do not know anything about our house or any of our personal belongings because the occupation forces still occupy the city and my family have not been able to return at any point.

Further conflict forced my family to move to the town of Al-Mughraqa, next to Madinat Al-Zahra, where army forces are still present, they settled in an old house belonging to my grandfather, which has since also been destroyed.

The occupation occupied this house almost immediately after my family arrived so they were displaced again to the Bureij camp. Soon after the occupation dropped leaflets warning them to leave Bureij camp because it had become a closed military zone, according to them.

My family were forced to flee in very dangerous circumstances for the third time to the Nuseirat camp. After about two weeks the occupation returned and dropped the same leaflets on the Al-Nuseirat camp, instructing them to evacuate and head to Rafah which is the most southern city in Gaza, on the border with northern Egypt.

My family are now refugees living in a tent in Rafah, having been displaced four times in total over the past 6 months.

The conditions in Rafah, and throughout Gaza mean that my family have almost no access to clean water, food, fuel for cooking and heating and medical supplies.

They are extremely worried about their future. Homes are destroyed, schools have become shelters, universities are destroyed, infectious epidemics have spread widely, food is contaminated, unhealthy and expensive.
