Erin needs a helping hand

Erin has helped everyone without asking for anything in return. Now it's time for us to help her out. She has been through hell and back and still has to go through more surgeries. She has had 8 brain surgeries in the last 15 years. Her first initial diagnosis was Chiari Malformation which was repaired at North Shore, LI. After her 1st surgery, she began having seizures and growing small tumors in her brain called seudo tumors. Then returned for many other surgeries for a shunt placement which all failed. She also does not have any adrenal function which she takes many medications to keep her alive. After getting an MRI at a local hospital in our area, she became gravely ill with staph infection thay entered through her incision and made its way in her brain which caused irreversible damage. She had many surgeries after the infection to keep her alive due to the damage it caused. She had surgery again 7 months ago to help with the seizures and to take some of the seudo tumors out. To no avail, it was another failed attempt. This past month the doctors wanted another MRI and they found a mass in the middle of her brain which has now placed itself and had roots. She now has to see an oncologist and get tested for cancer and to see if they can even operate in the area the tumor is growing. Today she had 6 lymph nodes biopsies due to a 3cm enlargement in all 6 of them. She also has to recieve a bone marrow biopsy to see if she still has staph infection. If she does, they might not be able to operate.
All the cost for gas going to the doctors, her husband taking off of work, the cost of medicine and doctors visits is really taking a toll on there finances. If there's anything that someone can do, it would be greatly appreciated. She is the strongest person I've ever met and has never asked for anything. So I'm using this resource to see if anyone is willing to give a helping hand to get her and her family through this difficult time. There's only so much that her family can do to keep there heads above water.
