Help Rebuild 29th Blackwater Scout Group After Fire
Our Scout Den Burnt Down and We Need Your Help!
Last week, tragedy struck our Scout group and the community when our Scout Den was completely destroyed by fire.
All our scouting equipment—tents, cooking gear, ropes, and pioneering equipment —were lost in the flames.
Since the 1st Scout Meeting on the 11 February 1980, the Blackwater Scout Group has been a second home to countless young people in the Blackwater community, a place where they learned teamwork, resilience, and essential life skills. Now, we are left with nothing but memories.
But Scouting is more than just a building. It’s about adventure, learning, and friendship. With your support, we can rise from the ashes and ensure that our young Scouts don’t miss out on the opportunities and experiences they cherish.
The Group currently has 46 youth members and 14 Adult leaders.
How Your Donation Helps
Your generosity will help us:
✅ Replace essential scouting equipment (tents, ropes, camping gear, pioneering equipment)
✅ Find a temporary meeting space for our Scouts and storage space for our equipment
✅ Support our efforts to rebuild scouting in Blackwater, and continue providing life-changing experiences
Every euro counts—no donation is too small! Even if you can’t donate, sharing this campaign will make a huge difference.
We are incredibly grateful for any help you can give. Together, we can ensure that Scouting remains a part of the Blackwater community and continues to inspire young people for years to come.
