Hi, I am Eric.

My mom was hit by a car crossing the street on her daily walks. She had a major laceration on one foot that needed major reattachment surgery. The other foot was also crushed but no bone displacement. She is insured and health coverage exists. However, there is a strong possibility that the driver is not. We are not a big family and I have very few resources. She is a Nail technician and works off tips. Unfortunately, she will not be able to work for at least a year. I do not know if this is the right thing to do... But we will need all the help we can get. The money raised will be used to cover living, medical and legal expenses. Funding will go a long way in paying for medical equipment (wheelchair rentals, walker, home health supplies), Skilled Nursing facility costs, home health costs, Rehabilitation costs, as well as day-to-day living expenses (food, rent, utilities)

As she recovers I am certain she will work and begin to earn. Any unused funds will be donated to a charity of her choice. I will am hopeful that this is the only time I have to set up this fundraising campaign.
