Giving is the best therapy!
My Uncle Michael, who is an instructor in the Department of Grain Science & Industry at Kansas State University, found out he has esophageal cancer.
He spent several days at KU Medical Center having a feeding tube and portal inserted. His first chemo treatment, of 12 over a 24-week period…barring any complications, went well. The second treatment landed him in the hospital with massive blood clots in his leg, and a small clot in his lung. A surgeon inserted a filter below the heart to prevent clots from entering his heart and lungs, and to break up the clots.
Currently my uncle can only sip water, so all other liquids and nutrients must go thru his feeding tube. To provide some financial relief for the feeding tube formula, future Pet and CT scans, blood clot thinner shots, and numerous trips to Kansas City to see an esophageal cancer specialist, I have created this GoFundMe account.
I would like it very much if you could make a contribution to my uncle’s cause, and please share the GoFundMe site to your social network. A Facebook post has also been created to get this message out on social media.
Thank you kindly and lots of love!
