What happens to a lead singer that loses his voice?

The will to live is lost as well…

Michael David Evans was the son of Hollywood starlets Susanna Foster and Wilber Evans. Born with the best qualities from both parents, he had what they call the “it” factor.

Being the front man of many bands, his young adult life was lived on some of the coolest stages. For 30 years he surrounded himself with incredible talent. From writing, singing and composing, he blead for the arts. In 2005, he unexpectedly lost his voice. With no medical explanation, he felt the universe had betrayed him; leading to a devastating depression.

It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to a dear friend, father, and musician that left the world too soon. For all the years of suffering, It will be my greatest honor to give him the peace and closure he was always searching for. This fund has been created to help raise money for a celebration of his life, he always deserved.

Any small gesture toward the memorial fund will help show how much he will be truly missed.

Please enjoy the last song he wrote “Rumi Says”. It’s one of my personal favorites.
