Merlins rescue dogs are being evicted. Urgent funds needed

Help us save Merlin’s Haven Dog Rescue!

Hello, I’m Lynn Morris, founder of Merlin’s Haven Dog Rescue, based in Cyprus. We’re urgently seeking your support to continue our mission of rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming stray dogs. Unless we can raise £60,000 by the end of November 2024, we risk losing our shelter and the future of these dogs will be uncertain.

We’re currently facing eviction from our farm, where we’ve provided a safe haven for stray dogs for the past six years. While we’re working tirelessly to rehome as many dogs as possible, 44 dogs, along with other rescue animals, still call our shelter home.

Thanks to generous donations, we’ve already raised £60,000, which allowed us to build walls, fences and our first dog accommodation at a new site. But we still need another £60,000 to fully complete the relocation and secure a future for Merlin’s Haven.

Merlin’s Haven is a unique rescue that rehomes over 100 dogs each year to loving families across Europe, including the UK, Cyprus, Germany and Holland. Over the last eight years, we’ve helped 900 dogs find their forever homes. What makes Merlin’s Haven special is that our dogs aren’t confined to cages all day; they spend most of their time running freely, playing and being socialised by our dedicated volunteers. We work hard to ensure every dog is happy, healthy, and ready for a new family.

Four years ago, I purchased land out of my own savings, with the dream of creating a bigger, better home for the dogs we care for. Now, we need your help to make that dream a reality. Without your support, Merlin’s Haven could be forced to close, leaving the local stray dogs with nowhere to go.
