Memorial service for veteran/husband/father
Donation protected
Paul/Paulie was 56 years old. He had many health complications and fought hard but finally lost his battle. With his family by his side showering him with love and prayers, he passed away Sunday evening. He leaves behind his loving wife of 30 years, Maria, and his three children, Paul, Marisol, and Esmeralda, and his two (step)grandchildren, Caitlyn and Zack, who all love him very much.
To anyone who did not personally know him:
Paulie never pretended to be someone he wasn’t. He was loud and outspoken, even if you didn’t ask his opinion. He always had the mindset to be yourself and if anyone had a problem with it, well that was their problem, not his. He was always joking and making people laugh and would demand the attention of a room. Paulie was the kind of person who would help anyone who needed it, whether it was giving them a ride to work, buying them groceries, or even bringing them into his home to live. He brought people and animals into his home on a regular basis and made them feel like family without even thinking twice. Paulie always spoiled his grandchildren and always showed them love and made them feel wanted. He helped so many people throughout his life and many lives have been forever changed having known this man.
We discovered yesterday that his union insurance was no longer active and he has no other life insurance or funds to assist with his funeral. He was a veteran so the burial will be covered but that does not include his casket, viewing and service, etc. We are asking if everyone can find it in their hearts to join us in contributing to help us to say our goodbyes and honor him. Please remember that no matter how small, everything helps. Donations in excess to funeral costs will go to his wife to help her financially as she no longer as any income. Thank you all for your love, support and prayers during this difficult time.
