My beautiful baby sister Melissa needs your help! After a week of debilitating migraines, Melissa was rushed into surgery two hours after being admitted to the hospital. Doctors informed her they had found a mass blocking the space where brain fluid would naturally drain from the body.

Due to the location of the mass, two ports were put in to drain the fluid.

Until radiation shrinks the mass this is a temporary solution. A permanent drain may need to be put in so the fluid can drain into the stomach.

Melissa is currently on bedrest, unable to move her head, and expected to be in ICU for a week or more.

This will be a huge financial burden on her family due to not having medical insurance.

Melissa is the main source of income for her three children, and also takes care of her niece.
