Hi, my name is Andrée Henri, NOSC supervisor, creating this fundraising campaign on behalf of one of our NOSC agents, Melissa who, on Feb 21 2023 lost everything in a fire that destroyed the apartment building where she resided. Just as she was wrapping up the end of her shift, the fire alarm went off. Being used to false alarms, she waited a couple of minutes but the alarm was still going off. She grabbed her purse and tried to walk out of her 4th-floor apartment but could not as the hallway was filled with smoke. She walked back into her apartment which was filling with smoke and called 911. She was rescued by the fire department without any harm to her. The fire started in the apartment right next to hers and lost all her belongings in the fire. We are looking for support through this gofundme page to assist Melissa so she can replace some of what she has lost. Any help is greatly appreciated.
