Medical expenses for Breau family/pancreatic cancer.

Hello! My name is Melanie and my father has been diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer.

*Update* He will start Radiation in January at the Moncton hospital for many weeks, any donation would be greatly appreciated thank you.

In March 2025 my father started having jaundice symptoms and they found a mass in his pancreas. He had stents placed in at Moncton city hospital and stayed 2 weeks at Bathurst, Moncton and Miramichi hospital to fight an infection.

May 6th he had the whipple procedure to remove the mass and a hard recovery of 25 days at Moncton city hospital. He also had many doctor/specialist/surgeon follow-ups in Moncton.

Me and my mom stayed by his side the most that we could but financially it took a lot from us (there is no longer free lodging since covid) I work as a self employed very small business, my mom works seasonal and my father has no income.

He will be going for bi-weekly chemotherapy treatments in Moncton, and multiple doctor consultations in Moncton too.

We are just me, my mom and my dad. This is an incredibly hard journey for us, any donation will be apreciated for gas money, hotel stay (some appointments in Moncton are for 7am) or food it will be helpful for getting him help to battle this terrible disease.

Bonjour ! Je m'appelle Mélanie et mon père a été diagnostiqué avec un cancer du pancréas au stade 3.

*Mise a jour* Il va commencer de la radiation début Janvier pour plusieurs semaines, vos donations seront très appréciés.

En mars 2025, mon père a commencé à avoir des symptômes de jaunisse et ils ont trouvé une masse dans son pancréas. Il a reçu des stents à l'hôpital de Moncton et est resté 2 semaines à l'hôpital de Bathurst, Moncton et Miramichi pour lutter contre une infection.

Le 6 mai, il a subi la procédure de Whipple pour enlever la masse et a eu une dure récupération de 25 jours à l'hôpital de la ville de Moncton. Il a eu également eu de nombreux suivis avec des médecins/spécialistes/chirurgiens à Moncton.

Ma mère et moi sommes restées à ses côtés autant que possible, mais financièrement cela nous a beaucoup coûté (Il n'y a plus de logement gratuit depuis le covid). Mon travail est une petite entreprise indépendante, ma mère travaille saisonnièrement et mon père n'a aucun revenu.

Il va suivre des traitements de chimiothérapie bi-hebdomadaires à Moncton et plusieurs consultations médicales à Moncton aussi.

Nous sommes juste moi, ma mère et mon père. C'est un voyage incroyablement difficile pour nous, toute donation sera appréciée pour l'essence, l'hébergement à l'hôtel (certains rendez-vous sont a 7am) ou la nourriture, cela nous aidera à obtenir de l'aide pour lutter contre cette terrible maladie.
