Medical and Living Expenses for Kathy and Eliana

UPDATE: Kathy is overwhelmed by the love and generosity that has been shown to her and Eliana. I have moved the goal to $10,000 this  afternoon as we all know how hard ongoing medical care can be. This is such a burden lifted from Kathy's shoulders. Thank you to all that have donated!


Hi, my name is Jennifer and I have been friends with Kathy for over 19 years. Our friendship started out of our desire to become mothers, when we were adopting our amazing daughters through the same agency.

 

We have seen much joy, love, and laughter during our years of friendship as well as some trials and tribulations. I am blessed by Kathy's determination to become a mom on her own and her work as a nurse. She is a supportive, loving and giving friend and mother.

 

Kathy is a cancer warrior and is now fighting it for the second time. She is not able to work and between living expenses and medical expenses has gone through her savings. Worrying about medical and living expenses is the last think she needs to be doing right now....she needs to be able to heal without those worries.

 

I am starting this page because Kathy is one of those people that would not ask for help because she is so independent and self-reliant but sometimes even the strongest people need a helping hand.
