Mary "Doll" Hawkins Memorial Bench
Donation protected
Everyone has been asking how they can honor Mary "Doll" Hawkins and her loving son and caretaker Ed came up with a brilliant idea that will last, well, hopefully forever.
Doll loved to attend the outdoor music concerts at Angle Park in her hometown of Sewanee, Tennessee, home to University of the South. The park is right near the campus. These free outdoor must concerts are held throughout the summer and she attended nearly every one, come rain or shine. Anyone who knew Doll, knew she loved music and loved Angel Park, and she was especially proud that her son Ed, was involved in helping to get the park built.
We can have a bench in Angel Park inscribed and dedicated in Doll's name, so the goal is to raise $2,000 for a donation to Angel Park for a bench. When you donate, will send you an invitation to the dedication in Sewanee.
