Joe Kirkland, a football coach from Burton-Upon-Trent who in a few weeks, will be living and making a difference in Woe, Ghana.
“I’ve coached voluntarily, professionally for a number of years both abroad and here in the U.K. I now hope that through the power of football and in partnership with Burton Albion FC, I can have an ever lasting impact. I’ll be living in the Ghanaian fishing village of Woe and supporting the people in general but also through providing football equipment and hopefully a few coaching sessions.
Ultimately, It’ll be an experience of a lifetime that’ll impact both me and the people within this village! Before I go I’d like to raise an additional £500 which would contribute towards the trip, I appreciate absolutely anything that anyone can donate. Even if you don’t decide to donate I hope that you follow the journey and look forward to seeing how both life and football is out on Ghana”
