Madelyn is a sweet and kind 12 year old girl who is always happy. However, not too long ago, her and her parents were faced with very devastating news; Madelyn has a very aggressive form of bone cancer.

Madelyn has always been very active and has been playing on two soccer teams. Recently, what her parents thought was routine knee pain turned into a quick trip to urgent care. From there, they were sent to CHOP where she was admitted and ultimately she was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. Madelyn is now at CHOP and is starting her chemotherapy regimen. Madelyn and her family are just beginning what is going to be a long fight and journey.
