Lynn’s Medical Treatments

In October of 2018 while on a plane I had a seizure. When I returned to the US I went to see a neurologist who said she didn’t see anything in my scans and let me go  with a prescription for Lamotrigine. I was supposed to take 25mg the first week and weekly up my dosage to 100mg in 4 weeks. In my second week I was supposed to take 50mg, unfortunately I had a Grand Mal seizure before I was able to take the second 25mg pill. This seizure was by far the worst I’ve had. Thankfully I had some indication it was coming and went to my neighbors house before and luckily was there when I had it. The ambulance took me to the hospital and stayed at the hospital until all my vitals were back to normal. The next day I went to see my neurologist who put me then on a 500mg dose of Keppra. That neurologist ruled out epilepsy. I was not confident that Keppra was my answer, so I began to see a Chiropractic Neurologist that takes a more holistic treatment approach while leveraging state of the art technology. Dr. Minh Tran has reviewed my MRI, Brain Scans, has done thorough blood testing and motor skills testing and unlike my previous neurologist has found significant damage to my parietal lobes, frontal lobe and brain stem and difficiencies in my vitamins, inflammation throughout my body, and an imbalance of fatty acids. I began taking 7 supplements twice a day. He’s designed an 8 week treatment for me including laser, chiropractor and brain based therapies and a nutrition plan to treat me. Being able to understand what is causing my seizures is half the battle. Dr. Minh Tran has healed folks with Autism, Stroke Patients and has a solid track record of healing seizures, but he’s out of my insurance network and comes with a hefty price tag. I’m still trying to cover the cost of the MRI, Brain Scans, hospital visits, ambulance, and all the lab work I’ve racked up since October, and have been presented with my treatment bill and the price is out of reach. Until I can afford treatment I’ll be doing a lot of home remedies, and praying I avoid any other seizures. Any help to get treatment sooner rather than later is much appreciated! ❤️
